Watch: HRT SZN in “Teenage Tragedy”

Following the release of his debut EP Some Songs and his striking debut video “Bloody Nose“, HRT SZN (Hurt Season) returns with his new video, “Teenage Tragedy”. The poignant song describes HRT SZN’s precarious lifestyle and struggles with addiction. Directed by Miles Lee, the visual brings to life the themes and feelings found throughout Some Songs and serves as the second act of a four-part installment that chronicles HRT SZN’s artistic journey and liberation from toxic forces and relationships. Drawing inspiration from equal parts HBO Max’s Euphoria and Silent Hill, the neon-drenched video features HRT SZN waking up after an overdose in school and finds him in an alternate reality amidst his classmate’s comatose bodies.
HRT SZN shares, “I wrote this song after I started falling in love. I wanted to show her who I was and what I have been through. I couldn’t just tell her; I had to show her, which is why I made a song about it.”
