Quavo Says Losing Takeoff Changed His Relationship With Offset Ahead of ‘QRÖMELIFE’

Quavo is opening up about Offset ahead of his new album. In a new interview with Idea Generation, released September 29, Quavo said Takeoff’s death changed how he sees his relationship with his former Migos partner, 24Hip-Hop reports.

Quavo said the loss “eased it a little bit” between them, and that the things that used to frustrate him don’t seem as big anymore. He was careful to say he could only speak for himself, not for how Offset feels.

QRÖMELIFE drops Friday

The timing matters. Quavo’s new album, QRÖMELIFE, arrives Friday, October 2, through Quality Control and Motown, with Pharrell Williams as executive producer. The 14-track project features Offset, T.I., Future and Justin Timberlake. It’s his first solo album since 2023’s Rocket Power.

Offset being on the tracklist makes this one to watch. It’s the clearest sign yet of where the two stand, nearly four years after losing Takeoff.
