Canadian rapper Newby is someone who has not allowed the quarantine to kill his creativity. Coming fresh off the release of his “Baked” video, he is proving to be a rising superstar. With unique visuals and a one-of-a-kind rap flow, his newest release does not disappoint.
In the opening moments of the “Baked” video, you will see Newby chilling in the house rapping at a beautiful woman who appears on his television screen. As the two have electric on-camera chemistry, it is clear that this rising rapper is nothing shy of a gentleman. Taking photos for his on-camera love interest, you can see a spark light up on the inside of her. This is a very charming and light-hearted visual that allows viewers to see a more tender side to Newby’s creativity.
One scene of this release that stands out the most is the scene of Newby and his mystery lady vibing together with stuffed animals, balloons, and glowing light props. It is refreshing to see a visual not over popularized by sex and drugs. This is something people of all ages can enjoy and view, as it is kid and family-friendly.
