Conspiracy Era: Meet Deseray Flores
“My strongest motivation is my son, he makes me want to work harder than anything.”
Conspiracy Era: Meet Deseray Flores. Making her first appearance on the IAHHM platform is an extremely talented artist from my hometown of Fayetteville, NC. by the name of Deseray Flores. Originally wanting to pursue a degree in Culinary, Deseray quickly realized that her heart didn't belong to that field and began pursuing her art movement. “Honestly, when I have art events.. the people there are what makes what I do amazing. I have met so many amazing people with stories that relate to my work. and also just amazing people that have a great source of energy radiating off them. the vibes are unreal.”
A natural-born artist, this determined, hardworking freelancer has been to quite a few art events but wants to eventually do custom work for celebrities, as well as being the center of attention at events such as Complexcon, Art Basel, and NYFW. As far as painting goes, Flores keeps it simple by using acrylic mainly but focuses heavily on the execution aspect.
“It's so important to stay on your toes and always promote yourself and think of things to move ahead. there’s no limit to anything you do! and always post new content for people to stay interested in you. and show your face at events and interact positively with people.” Currently, Deseray is working on new portraits, focusing on enhancing her color blending skills and detail while still doing pop up shops and radio interviews. I would definitely recommend that she starts designing album covers for musicians if she hasn't already. Fayetteville is a melting pot full of talent waiting to be seen by the world.
