7 Open Casting Calls This Week, Including 4 in North Carolina (Oct. 19)

Want to get on camera? Here are 7 open casting calls we verified this week, starting with four in North Carolina. Each listing below is still open as of Oct. 19, 2026. Apply through the official link, and read the safety note at the bottom before you send anything.

Safety First: Never Pay to Audition

Real casting directors don’t charge you to audition, submit or get “booked.” Watch for these red flags:

  • Anyone asking for a fee, a “registration” charge or money for headshots before you’re cast
  • Requests for your Social Security number, bank info or ID before a booking is confirmed
  • Pressure to decide on the spot, or meetings at a private home instead of an office or set
  • Checks that “overpay” you and ask you to send money back

If a call feels off, look up the casting company on its own website or social pages before you share anything. For minors, a parent or guardian should handle every step.

NC productions often post background work on casting company social pages. Kimmie Stewart Casting and TW Cast & Recruit have both posted Wilmington-area calls recently, per How to Self Tape.
