Trying to get on screen? Here are seven open casting calls with deadlines still ahead, as of Monday, Oct. 12, 2026. Most are right here in North Carolina, with a few regional and national ones after that. We checked every listing ourselves, but always confirm the details with the production before you commit.
⚠️ Safety first: never pay to audition. A real casting call won’t charge you to submit, audition or “hold” a role. Some casting websites sell optional memberships, but every listing below says applying is free. Don’t send money, your Social Security number or bank info to anyone before you’re booked. Meet in public or professional spaces, bring someone with you if you can, and walk away from anything that feels off.

Hip hop heads, this one’s for you. If you can name the producer on every track off your favorite album, why not get paid for it?
Tips Before You Submit
- Read the whole breakdown. Several listings say “local talent only,” so don’t apply to a Charlotte shoot if you can’t get there on your own.
- Know the pay terms. “TFP” usually means you’re working for footage or photos, not cash. If a listing says both “paid” and “TFP,” ask before you agree.
- Keep your materials ready. A current headshot, a one-page resume and a short self-tape intro cover most submissions.
- Never pay to audition. Say it again for the people in the back.
