The Story
The shoe is inspired by Aminé’s sixth-grade trip to MESD Outdoor School in Oregon.
That’s why each pair comes with a “wood cookie” hangtag branded “Horizon Cabin,” a nod to the decorated wooden name tags kids wore at camp. Sneaker Freaker reports the tissue paper includes a handwritten note from Aminé explaining what those necklaces meant to him.
Design Details
The upper mixes mesh, suede and glossy patent leather in brown. Club Banana logos hit the tongues, Aminé’s logo is on the heel and the outsole colors are mismatched.
The insoles carry Outdoor School graphics, and the extras are fun: charms shaped like a frog, compass, whistle, slug and fish, plus a shoe box designed to look like a fishing tackle box.
