The Story Behind “5AM Flight”
The name comes from Kobe’s recovery from his torn Achilles. While rehabbing, he posted a video of himself diving into a pool at 5 a.m., and that early-morning grind became the theme of this shoe.
The original “5AM Flight” Kobe 10 first released in 2015. This Protro brings it back.
Design Details
The upper is Blue Lagoon engineered mesh with black Swooshes. Kobe’s signature appears in red on the tongue, along with his shield logo.
Flip the tongue and you’ll find a water-style graphic that ties back to the pool story. The semi-translucent rubber outsole returns from the 2015 version too.
