Tyrese Maxey officially has his own shoe on shelves. The New Balance Maxey V1, the Sixers star’s first signature model, launched Friday, Oct. 2, in the black-and-blue colorway he debuted on court.

From Play-In Debut to Retail
Maxey signed with New Balance in January 2023. He debuted the Maxey V1 during the NBA Play-In Tournament in April 2026, and more colorways are expected during the 2026-27 season.
Per Sneaker Bar Detroit, Maxey wanted the shoe to still look like New Balance without leaning too hard on the “N” logo.
Design and Tech
The look pulls from New Balance lifestyle hits. The wavy, layered paneling and sculpted midsole nod to the 9060, while the lacing area borrows from the 2002.
Underfoot, it runs FuelCell cushioning with a two-piece plate system instead of one full-length plate, adding support at the midfoot and arch. A multidirectional outsole handles traction.
