Maryland native J. Fitts has been making waves with his distinct “R&T” mix which blends the soulful elements of R&B and hip hop to curate authentic-sounding music which speaks on the trenches. “Letter To Fitts” is his latest effort that captures this amazing new sound. The visual was shot by CamWitDaCam.
The track is an ode to his background as Fitts hides nothing in a smooth version of what we can call a hood classic film brought to music. Think of him as the male version of one of your favorite hoos singers Monica but with a bit more versatility to him.
Smooth and gangster, it’s a bit of authenticity to this as it’s like a mix of classic mid-2000s soulful R&B of the likes of Jahiem and Joe that can be meshed in well with modern trap artists such as Fredo Bang, Lil Durk, and Lil Baby. he's very diverse and talented with an incredible music catalog that has been rising from the underground onto the mainstream in the past few years.
“Letter To Fitts” is on all platforms.
