Nigeria’s own ‘Kaza Kid’ is making waves in Toronto.

Nigerian born musician KAZA KID is making a name for himself in Music. Pre-Pandemic, Kaza Kid had been making waves through Toronto at some of the most notable hot spots for live music events, such as ‘Grand Gerrard Theatre’ and ‘The Smiling Buddha’. In the later months of 2019, Kaza released his debut EP ‘Genesis of the Black Sheep’.

Having been nominated for ‘Best Rap Song’ under ‘The Wammie Awards’ as a collaborator on Sean-Michael’s record “Swim” as ‘Kaza Kid’, in January 2020, to feature in ‘TrapxArt’s Digital Magazine’ issued on July 1st, 2021. Kaza Kid has received over 100,000+ plays on Spotify, and that is only the beginning!

Kaza Kid currently has a few different music videos on his Youtube channel, which include ‘E Close’, ‘Again and Again’, & ‘Vision’. The videos alone give you insight as to what inspires the Nigerian Artist.

Experimenting with sounds ranging from Hip-Hop, R&B, Soul, Jazzy & Indie Alternative, Kaza Kid is proud to say he is influenced by Ty Dolla $ign, Kendrick Lamar, Goldlink, Isaiah Rashad, Masego, Linkin Park & Stormzy, just to name a few. Kaza graces us with heavy hitting bass-lines, intricate melodies, powerful performances, bouncy, rapid verses, and catchy hooks, to keep the listener tirelessly engaged and wanting more.
