East Coast lyricist Elijah XIII is a force to be reckoned with. Returning to type game with a hard new video titled “Remember The Name”, he is proof that REAL emcees still exist.
As he is a part of the New York based collective UNINVITED, he continues to create opportunities for himself and the people around him. On his latest single he is letting fans know that his name will be remembered in history.
Born in Arkansas and raised in New York, Elijah XIII is influenced by his life experiences which are depicted in his music. In the “Remember The Name” video you will see the rising rapper paying homage to a lot of the fallen victims who lost their lives at the hands of the police like Daunte Wright. You will see in the opening moment the names inscribed on a wall creating a nostalgic and real time moment.
As he does a good job of speaking his truth over the concrete beat, Elijah XIII impressive style mixed with level of woke consciousness, is beyond impressive for artist of his skill level. He does an excellent job of creating a body of work that music lovers worldwide can relate to and tap in with it.
