Most of the time people just talk about the east/west rivalry, but that show was more than that: ➡️ This show was the public beginning of the east/west rivalry; but at the same time the end of this duality and the place of birth of a new power: The South! ➡️ OUTKAST getting booed and ANDRE 3000's prophecy “The South got something to say!” ➡️ DJ QUIK dissed Mc EIHT to his face in front of everyone. ➡️ NAS was completely forgotten and didn't receive the “Best Lyricist award” he deserved; what led him after that to change his style: he went from Nasty Nas to Escobar ➡️ The outstanding Method Man performance
