What is Tarot?
Originally, these cards were used for gaming purposes in the 15th century. The origin of Tarot comes from Europe. When it began to spread, Egyptian priests used these cards for their religion and to hide the encrypted messages in the cards because Christians were burning all religious literature which was not their own.
Facts about Tarot:
– There are MANY different Tarot decks and although their is no standard number, they all have the same meaning.
– Anyone can read Tarot cards, just make sure your energy is pure.
– Although these cards can be used for occult magic and voodoo, not everyone uses them for that.
– You do not have to be spiritual in order to read these cards, however, intuition plays a major role in expanding on the interpretations.
Major vs Minor Arcana
• Major Arcana consists of 22 cards, each card represents a life changing event.
•Each Major Arcana has a Roman numeral on it (0-21) which is associated with numerology.
• Major Arcana cards consists of The Moon, The Empress, Death, etc.
• Minor Arcana consists of 56 cards.
• Minor Arcana is similar to a regular deck of cards (Kings, Queens, Knights, etc.)
• Each suit (Pentacles, Swords, Wands, Cups) is related to all of the Star sign elements.

•I dabbled in spirituality vaguely in high school. Afterwards, I met Jasmin on Facebook at 19 and that’s when I knew it was for me.

•My mother is super supportive and ecstatic about my business ventures in the crystal industry.

•Kanye has always been a top artist for me. Recently his behavior just distorts me. He’s just a little too scattered but his music is still influential and captivating.

•Jasmin would be one of the first people I have collaborated with on a business level, she is the top dawg.
HOW SERIOUS ARE YOU ABOUT MAKING A LIVING FROM YOUR PASSION ? ARE YOU A STUDENT OF YOUR CRAFT?
•My interest and love for crystals grows stronger everyday. Im passionate about helping and healing people in non traditional ways to get a longer lasting persistent effect. I am definitely a student as far as self educating and learning from Jasmin, as well as other pages and websites i come across.

•I would advise aspiring artists to just be yourself through your music, Network and be friendly but cautious.
Where are you from ?
•I am from Lumberton, NC born and raised.
-Do you work on this project alone or is there a team involved ?
•Jasmin and I are a team. We do everything separately but together, if that makes sense.
-what is your dream job?
•My dream job is to be a card-reading, crystal therapy gypsy who helps people from all over heal and attain their deepest desires.
If you were offered a perfect distribution/sponsorship from every major company in america which company would suit you and your brand the most?
• There aren’t any major corporations I would collab with, mostly local spiritual stores and websites.
What is your favorite movie? Favorite actor?
•My favorite movie is The Lovely Bones. My favorite actress Sandra Bullock.
-Tell me some of your biggest and/or most enjoyable moments so far?
•Some of my greatest moments would include graduating HS, moving away from home and now, starting a business with a genuine friend! I’ve had a lot of downs consistently over the passed years so my greatest moments have been made on my own!
-Name 3 things that make you unique as an artist?
•I am an empath, my goal isn’t to make money it’s to reintroduce the world to crystal healing and the amazing effects of it. The last thing that makes me unique is my patience and understanding, I want to give ppl the best experience possible most suited for them.
-Where do you see yourself going with this? What are your big plans?
•I see Jasmin and myself making this a lifelong business, eventually opening a shop and just expanding from there. Time will fill in the details!

•I am currently only offering one of the MANY services I will be adding to Jasmin’s tarot and healing services. I will be introducing spell kits, selling just crystals, herbs and more to come!

FAVORITE HIP HOP GROUP OF ALL TIME? – Mobb Deep, OutKast, De La Soul, Kaiit, The Roots. Junior Mafia. Does Diddy Dirty Money count? I couldn’t choose one.
AT WHAT AGE DID YOU START BEING INTERSTED IN SPIRITUALITY? – Although spirituality has always been a part of my family, I didn’t start becoming interested in tarot and expanding my knowledge until I was about 19/20.
WHAT DO YOUR PARENTS THINK OF YOU PURSUING YOUR GOALS – They joke, ALOT— but they support. I give them readings occasionally.

WHAT IS YOUR STANCE ON KANYE WEST? – I think, that he is a pioneer— he is extremely accomplished and nothing short of a genius. However, his precarious viewpoint on Trump and all that it entails is very disappointing. I think that a year later he’s finally starting to understand how his backing of 45 left a bad taste in the culture’s mouth.
HOW MANY ARTISTS or FREELANCERS HAVE YOU COLLABORATED WITH LOCALLY? – Yes, my bestfriend Logen! I recently just launched my Like Page (Jasmin’s Tarot & Healing) on Facebook in January. It’s time to expand and build the brand together.
HOW SERIOUS ARE YOU ABOUT MAKING A LIVING FROM YOUR PASSION ? ARE YOU A STUDENT OF YOUR CRAFT? –
When I first started doing tarot readings over two years ago, I had no idea it would gain as much traction as it did/has. I enjoy helping people, point blank. In the past, I was not confident in what I do, but now, I want it all. I plan to expand my inventory into not only crystals/herbs, but also apparel and diving deeper into natural healing remedies. Of course I want to open up a shop as well with my partner. I love to learn, I can wholeheartedly admit that I don’t have the answer for everything but I will always find it.
WHAT IS LACKING IN HIP HOP MUSIC OR MUSIC IN GENERAL THAT YOU THINK CAN CHANGE? – I wouldn’t say lacking, I think it just evolves and generates a new sound every so often. What can change though? All of this mediocre content. A lot of the Lil’s are starting to sound like old Migos. Even the Migos are beginning to expand beyond the one word choruses and hard ass beats lacking lyrical content.

Besides the 360 deals most of them are already bound to, streaming makes little profit unless… streaming farms. Even then it’s still strenuous to make anything off of it. 1 stream doesn’t count like it used to, nowadays you have to reach millions/billions to make a real profit.
WHAT WOULD YOUR ADVICE BE TO ASPIRING ARTISTS FROM YOUR AREA?– Don’t stop creating, or learning. Even if you’re the only one reposting your music/business/content/art, someone IS ALWAYS WATCHING. Perfect your passion.

-Do you work on this project alone or is there a team involved ?I have one partner, her name is Logen Sampson. She’s finding her niche in crystal healing, natural remedies, and attraction spells.
–what is your dream job? I always wanted to be an A&R growing up, my first love is music. My second passion is what I do now, healing and helping others!

–What is your favorite movie? Favorite actor? WHEW I have so many!! Off top I would have to say American Gangster, Ghost Ship, and The Strangers.Favorite actors would be Gerard Butler, Jennifer Anniston, Regina King, Chadwick Bozeman, Viola Davis and Ellen Pompeo.
–Tell me some of your biggest and/or most enjoyable moments so far? Every time i do a reading, i enjoy it. I love people asking me “how did you know that?” I always tell them it’s not me it’s the cards honestly. Biggest moment, definitely getting out of the Marine Corps. The experience of meeting new people and the job was great, but the institution as a whole made it unbearable sometimes.
–Name 3 things that make you unique as an artist? I’m all about feedback, i’m willing to learn as well as teach, and always humble.
-Where do you see yourself going with this? What are your big plans? This year, I plan to make this a steady cash flow— websites, expanding inventory, investing in my brand, and attending pop up shops.
