I was anticipating this debut album from Jorja Smith.. you hear so much about an artist but they don't have much music.. but now we have “Lost & Found” finally.
12 songs of just Jorja.
Jorja Smith only 20 years old and this album is full of singing about love and failed relationships.. her life adult life just got started and she's already been through a lot.. i love her singing and accent.. she kinda, just a little.. reminds me of Amy Winehouse at moments on this album, maybe that's just me.. i love this sound from Jorja but i feel like she'll polish it up even better next project, love the direction. here's a thought.. maybe far fetched but here it is… i remember on Joe Budden's podcast he spoke about Drake's latest songs being about Jorja Smith.. saying “you were young..” etc.. Jorja had an interlude on More Life.. Drake had a song on there called “Teenage Fever“.. Jorja has a song on this album called “Teenage Fantasy“.. Jorja touches on being “too young” and wanting something then not anymore once you have it… any correlation? Who knows.
