G-Eazy is starting a new chapter, and he brought an old friend along for it. On Friday, September 25, he released “JFK” with Ty Dolla $ign. The Nic Nac-produced track is his second single under a new partnership with Ty Dolla $ign’s EZMNY Records and EMPIRE, 24Hip-Hop reports.
The move takes G-Eazy independent after a six-album run with RCA Records. “JFK” follows “Pretty Girls,” which came out in August, and both songs lead into his next album on EZMNY and EMPIRE.
The two have been friends for more than a decade, so the pairing makes sense as the first big look of the new deal. Fans got an early preview, too: the song was first played live at Ty Dolla $ign’s Madison Square Garden tour stop.
