Lots of great albums dropped in 2017, it was a good year for music to me.
45. “Special Edition Grandmaster Deluxe” by The Cool Kids
Both are having great solo careers but it's good to see these 2 back at it and never losing a step.
“TV Dinner” & “On The Set” are my favorite songs.
44. “Culture” by Migos
This shit is really an album full of club bangers and it really grew on me.. but i've heard “Bad And Boujee” enough for my life time.
“Big On Big” & “What The Price” are my favorite songs.
43. “I Decided.” by Big Sean
I don't know why it felt like this album dropped late 2016 but this was a decent album from Sean.
“Bounce Back” & “Moves” are my favorite songs.
42. “Radio Silence” by Talib Kweli
Talib still dropping gems on the lowest of keys, underrated album.
“Traveling Light” & “All Of Us” are my favorite songs.
41. “New Wave” by Stalley
Stalley had a big year dropping multiple solid projects but this is the one i listen to most.. great beats on here.
“Absence” & “New Wave” are my favorite songs.
40. “God's Poop Or Clouds?” by The Jet Age Of Tomorrow
Haven't heard from them in years but this is full of some soulful music.
“The Long Way Home” & “Ain't A Party” are my favorite songs.
39. “About Time” by Sabrina Claudio
Every song i hear by her i love her even more, her voice is beautiful.
“Natural” & “Belong To You” are my favorite songs.
38. “Big Fish Theory” by Vince Staples
This album isn't as bad as people make it seem, they just so used to hearing trap beats all the time.
“Crabs In A Bucket“, “Big Fish” & “745” are my favorite songs.
37. “Good vs. Evil 2: The Red Empire” by Kxng Crooked
Crooked really spazzed all over this, the most slept on member of Slaughterhouse.. crazy flows over hard beats.
“The Maga Continues” & “Truth (Why You Mad)” are my favorite songs.
36. “Mourn” by Corbin
AKA Spooky Black, i'm surprised how much i enjoyed this project.. a different sound from him.
“Mourn” & “Giving Up” are my favorite songs.
35. “Say Less” by Roy Wood$
Roy hasn't disappointed me since he came out, the most underrated from OVO.
“Monday To Monday” & “Balance” are my favorite songs.
34. “CTRL” by SZA
i love SZA and i love this cover.
“Doves In The Wind” & “Go Gina” are my favorite songs.
33. “4:44” by Jay-Z
I don't mind raps from an almost 50 year old Hov.
“The Story Of O.J.” & “4:44” are my favorite songs.
32. “True To Self” by Bryson Tiller
This really sounded like Trap Soul part 2.. great beats on here.
“You Got It“, “High Stakes” & “Before You Judge” are my favorite songs.
31. “8” by Statik Selektah
Statik grabbed so many different rappers to rap over his amazing beats.. even rappers i never thought i'd hear on here.
“Ain't A Damn Thing Change” & “What Can We Do, Pt. 1 & 2” are my favorite songs.
30. “The Space Between” by Majid Jordan
i get old school r&b vibes from some of the songs on here.
“Gave Your Love Away” & “What You Do To Me” are my favorite songs.
29. “Fin” by Syd
Syd's wonderful voice over great production.
“No Complaints” & “Nothin' To Somethin'” are my favorite songs.
28. “Everybody” by Logic
i love the concept on this album.. made me think about life, oh and this cover is incredible.. J. Cole sitting on the very top is dope.
“Hallelujah“, “Everybody“, “Take It Back” & “Ink Blot” are my favorite songs.
27. “The Never Story” by J.I.D
J.I.D's just getting started.. 2018 gonna be big for him.
“General“, “Never” & “Underwear” are my favorite songs.
26. “Rather You Than Me” by Rick Ross
Ross always has solid albums but i think this one is his best.
“Idols Become Rivals“, “Scientology” & “Santorini Greece” are my favorite songs.
25. “Return Of The Don” by Kool G Rap
Another great album by a legendary rapper pushing 50.
“Wise Guys” & “World Is Mine” are my favorite songs.
24. “Trip” by Jhené Aiko
This is by far my favorite project from her, i gotta do drugs and listen to this with a nice young lady.
“Sativa” & “Psilocybin” are my favorite songs.
23. “DAMN.” by Kendrick Lamar
The concept of this album was interesting and the funniest shit was someone posting a thinkpiece of him dropping another album 2 days later.

22. “All-American Bada$$” by Joey Bada$$
Joey really came thru on this one.. excellent production.
“Land Of The Free“, “Rockabye Baby” & “Super Predator” are my favorite songs.
21. “Renaissance” by The Underachievers
These 2 can do no wrong to me, everything they drop is quality.
“Crescendo“, “How We Roll” & “Phoenix Feathers” are my favorite songs.
20. “Blkswn” by Smino
Smino has a unique and refreshing sound, glad i discovered him this year.
“Wild Irish Roses“, “Father Son Holy Smoke” & “Blkswn” are my favorite songs.
19. “Future” by Future
i've heard “Mask Off” enough for my entire life time.
“Good Dope“, “Draco“, “Feds Did A Sweep” & “High Demand” are my favorite songs.
18. “Morning After” by dvsn
Maxwell vibes all throughout this album over some smooth ass beats.. the Maxwell sample is godly, get her pregnant to this.
“Think About Me“, “P.O.V.” & “Claim” are my favorite songs.
17. “Pretty Girls Like Trap Music” by 2 Chainz
Tity Boi really impressed me with this one, nothing but bangers.
“Good Drank“, “4 AM“, “Big Amount” & “Rolls Royce Bitch” are my favorite songs.
16. “Drunk” by Thundercat
This sounds like one long ass song, love how the songs transition to the next.. beautiful album.
“A Fan's Mail“, “Lava Lamp“, “Friend Zone” & “Drink Dat” are my favorite songs.
15. “No Dope On Sundays” by Cyhi The Prynce
We finally got this album after all these years and he didn't disappoint at all.
“Trick Me” & “Nu Africa” are my favorite songs.
14. “Beach House 3” by Ty Dolla $ign
Top 1 album cover.. this is his best work.. i wish this dropped during the summer.
“Don't Judge Me“, “Lil Favorite” & “Stare” are my favorite songs.
13. “Boo Boo” by Toro Y Moi
Maaaaan i love this album, so many beautiful sounds on here.. but that's what Toro Y Moi does.
“Mirage“, “Don't Try” & “Girl Like You” are my favorite songs.
12. “SYRE” by Jaden Smith
Never thought i'd enjoy a Jaden Smith album.. enjoy it enough to place it on a list.. enjoy it enough to play it often.
“Icon“, “Fallen” & “The Passion” are my favorite songs.
11. “More Life” by Drake
Passionfruit through Blem is the greatest placement of songs ever.
Those songs are my favorite.
10. “Blue Chips 7000” by Action Bronson
Only Action Bronson would name his 3rd installment of Blue Chips, 7000.
“9-24-7000“, “The Choreographer” & “Durag vs. Headband” are my favorite songs.
9. “12” by A$AP Twelvyy
This album is soooo New York, highly anticipated.. don't sleep.
“Castle Hell“, “Yea Yea Yea (Maps)“, “Riviera” & “Brothers” are my favorite songs.
8. “The Saga Continues” by Wu-Tang Clan
The nostalgia in 2017.
“Lesson Learn'd“, “People Say” & “Hood Go Bang!” are my favorite songs.
7. “Rosebudd's Revenge” by Roc Marciano
So slept on.. love the beats on here.
“Move Dope“, “Burkina Faso” & “Marksmen” are my favorite songs.
6. “Anchovies” by Apollo Brown & Planet Asia
Another underrated duo.
“The Aura“, “Duffles” & “Avant Garde” are my favorite songs.
5. “Laila's Wisdom” by Rapsody
The last song on this album is a real tear jerker, i wanna thank Rap personally for this.. Carolina's own.
“Jesus Is Coming“, “Power” & “OooWee” are my favorite songs.
4. “Courtesy Of Half-A-Mil” by Dom Kennedy & Hit-Boy
Hit-Boy really brought the best out of Dom on this one.. another album i wish dropped during the summer.
“Numbers“, “The Most“, “Trickin'” & “My Doggs” are my favorite songs.
3. “HNDRXX” by Future
This was Future in his final form.
“Lookin' Exotic“, “Incredible“, “Testify“, “Hallucinating“, “I Thank U” & “Solo” are my favorite songs.
2. “FRVR” by Two-9
I love this album, fucking fire from start to finish.. magnificent beats.
“None Of These“, “This Way“, “Larry Hughes“, “Sipper“, “JFK” & “Family” are my favorite songs.
1. “4eva Is A Mighty Long Time” by Big K.R.I.T.
This is the album that forced his way into the top tier of rappers for most people, he was already up there to me.
