Playboi Carti hasn't always caught my attention like that in the past besides “Location” (produced by the God.. Harry Fraud) and of course his biggest hit “Magnolia” from his debut project but this new project is just a next level for him.. you can't deny this album cover along with a title “Die Lit“.
19 songs on here with some big features from Skepta, Travi$ Scott, Lil Uzi Vert, Nicki Minaj, Bryson Tiller, Chief Keef, Young Thug, Pi'erre Bourne and more.
Maaaaan! I need the instrumental version of this album because these are some of the best beats i've heard this year.. the production does so much justice for Carti.. I can't even call this trash, it's like high level elegant garbagé.. Playboi Carti's simplistic style on here with these beats just makes this album amazing.. it's hard to explain, it caught me off guard.. I enjoyed this a lot more than his self titled project from last year.. songs that stood out to me? The “Lean 4 Real” beat is godly and the hook “I'm on the lean 4 real, I'm on them beans 4 real” is so catchy man.. then Skepta's energy just adds to the greatness.. “Mileage” and “No Time” sound so blissful.. sounds like everything great in life, as simple as that.
Playboi Carti MIGHT have a classic on his hands, we shall see.
