Remember last year when Drake told us “I'll be back in 2018 to give you the summary” and how far away it felt? well we are here.. time flies, and Drake is back to give us an appetizer for what seems will be a huge year for him.
I don't know whether to call this an EP or a double single but we have “God's Plan” and “Diplomatic Immunity“.. he broke a streaming record for most streams for a new song on the first day, the year already starting off right. I'd say God's Plan is more of the friendly record for the radio which will probably be the more popular song of the 2, Diplomatic Immunity is basically Drake talking his shit over a beat that I think Rick Ross would float on too. lots of Instagram captions on both of these songs.. my favorite line is “She says, “Do you love me?” I tell her, “Only partly I only love my bed and my momma, I'm sorry” from God's Plan.. you can always relate to a Drake line, and he throws some shots at multiple people like Joe Budden and DJ Akademiks.. probably some other victims too, these 2 songs are enjoyable but I hope his upcoming album is even better.
