Fayetteville’s Dennis Smith Jr. Records First NBA Triple Double

“It’s the first of many.” – Rick Carlisle.

Fayetteville’s own and Dallas Maverick rookie Dennis Smith Jr is beginning to take the league by storm as he recorded his first triple double 12/29/17 when the Mavs defeated the Pelicans. 21-10-10 for the 2-6 phenom as he replaces Jason Kidd for the youngest Mav to record such a stat line.  “That’s great company to be with,” Smith said. Smith was 8-12 from the field including 5/7 behind the 3 point line in just 31 minutes. Mavericks take on the Oklahoma City Thunder in their next game.
